INSTALLATION PAIR VALVE ELIMINATOR KIT Kawasaki VN 900 1700 2000

Parts:

1 x Pair valve eliminator   

3 x Rubber cap          

The idea of the whole procedure is to bypass the PAIR valve of the motorcycle by replacing it with the electronic PAIR valve eliminator of the kit and plug the airbox port and engine ports of the PAIR system with the rubber caps.

This kit will let you completely remove the PAIR system from your motorcycle.

Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure

STEP 1: Lift and support the fuel tank. Locate the PAIR valve and the PAIR system hoses connected on the cylinder heads and the airbox.

STEP 2: Unplug the PAIR hose from the airbox and keep the retainer piece.

STEP 3: Unplug the PAIR hoses from each the engine valve cover plates of the pair system and keep the retainer pieces.

STEP 4: Plug the airbox pipe with one of the provided rubber caps and secure it by using the retainer piece from the PAIR hose.

STEP 5: Plug the pipes of the PAIR valve plates on the cylinder head covers and secure them by using the retainer pieces from the PAIR hoses.

STEP 6: Disconnect the PAIR valve connector from the wiring harness and connect the provided electronic PAIR valve eliminator in its place.

STEP 7: Remove the screws that hold the PAIR valve solenoid and now it is free to be detached from the motorcycle.

You have bypassed the PAIR valve!

That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.
