INSTALLATION SmartMoto PAIR AIS VALVE ELIMINATOR
Parts:
1 x Pair valve eliminator
1 x Rubber cap
The idea of the whole procedure is to bypass the PAIR valve of the motorcycle by replacing it with the electronic PAIR valve eliminator of the kit and plug the airbox pipe of the PAIR system with the rubber caps.
We have used a Suzuki SV 1000 as reference in some photos, however these instructions will be applied to the listed motorcycles.
Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure
STEP 1: Lift and support the fuel tank. Locate the PAIR valve and the PAIR system hoses connected on the cylinder heads and the airbox.
The PAIR valve can be found just above the cylinder heads on the inline engines or attached on the airbox on the V engines.
STEP 2: Unplug the PAIR hose from the airbox and keep the retainer piece.
STEP 3: Plug the airbox pipe with one of the provided rubber caps and secure it by using the retainer piece from the PAIR hose.
STEP 4: Follow the wires from the PAIR valve to the wiring harness , disconnect the PAIR valve connector from the wiring harness and connect the provided PAIR valve eliminator in its place.
STEP 5: Remove the screws that hold the PAIR valve on the airbox and now it is free to be detached from the motorcycle.
You have bypassed the PAIR valve!
That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.
Thank you very much.
