INSTALLATION SAS Valve Removal kit KTM 950 models

Step 1 : Remove the fuel tank according to the owner’s manual. Locate The SAS valve (2) and the covers (4).

Step 2 : Follow the pipes that go from the SAS valve to the covers, the pipe that goes to the air box (1) and the vacuum line that goes to the throttle body and unplug them. Seal the air box nipple with the provided 12.7mm rubber cap and the throttle body port with the provided 4.5mm rubber cap.

Step 3 : Remove the SAS valve, the pipes and their associated hardware from the motorcycle.

Step 4 : Remove the covers and their bolts.

Step 5 : Place the block off plates over the valve reeds, use the provided stainless steel bolts and washers to install the plates and tighten each bolt to 10NM of torque.
