The idea of the whole procedure is to bypass the electronic SAS valve of the motorcycle by replacing it with the provided SAS valve eliminator. To plug the airbox hole of the SAS system with the provided rubber cap and install the provided block off plates to the engine valve covers.

This kit will let you completely remove the SAS system from your motorcycle.

Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure

STEP 1: Remove the side panels and seat and lift and support the fuel tank.

STEP 2: Locate the SAS valve at the rear of the airbox.

Follow the wires from the SAS valve to the wiring harness and disconnect it by lifting the plastic clip of the male connector.

Connect the provided SAS valve eliminator to the male connector.

STEP 3: Unplug the SAS hose from the airbox and keep the retainer piece.

STEP 4: Plug the airbox hole with the provided rubber cap and secure it by using the retainer piece from the SAS hose.

STEP 5: The SAS hoses are running along the airbox and frame to the cylinder heads, unplug them and the SAS valve can be removed from the motorcycle completely.

STEP 6: Unscrew the two bolts of each SAS plate on cylinders, remove the external SAS plate but leave the internal plate in place.

STEP 7: Put each block off plate against the engine valve cover and align the block off plate holes with the cylinder holes. Use the provided stainless steel bolts and washers to install the plates and tighten each bolt to 10nm of torque.

You have bypassed the SAS system!

That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.
