INSTALLATION PAIR Valve Removal kit Honda VTX 1300

Step 1 : Remove the fuel tank according to the owner’s manual. Locate The PAIR valve (4) and the covers (18).

Step 2 : Follow the pipes (5)(6)(8) that go from the PAIR valve (4) to the covers (18), the pipe that goes to the air box (7) and the pipes that go to the throttle body vacuum (13)(12) and unplug them. Seal the air box and vacuum nipples with the provided rubber caps.

Step 3 : Remove the PAIR valve (4), the pipes (5)(6)(8)(7)(13)(12) and their associated hardware (1)(2)(3)(10)(14)(15)(17) from the motorcycle.

Step 4 : Remove the covers (18) and their bolts.

Step 5 : Place the block off plates over the valve reeds, use the provided stainless steel bolts and washers to install the plates and tighten each bolt to 10NM of torque.
