INSTALLATION PAIR Valve Removal Kit BME S1000RR S1000XR HP4

Parts:

The idea of the whole procedure is to plug the PAIR valve outlet with the provided rubber cap, remove the air line, pipes and PAIR covers from the valve cover and install the two aluminium block off plates on the engine.

Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure

STEP 1: Remove the fuel tank according the owner's manual. Locate the PAIR Valve (1), the air line and pipes (5) as shown in the diagram.

STEP 2: Disconnect the air line pipe (5) from the PAIR Valve (1) and use the rubber cap provided in the kit to seal the PAIR Valve outlet.

STEP 3: Follow the air line pipe (5) from the PAIR Valve to the engine until you find the two bolts holding the air line pipe (5) and unscrew them keeping the two o-rings (6) and bolts (7) in hand in hand (6).

STEP 4: Remove the air line pipe (5).

STEP 5: Use the two o-rings (6) on the block off plates and tighten the two block off plates on the valve cover using the standard bolts (7) at 10nm torque.

You have bypassed the PAIR system!

That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.
