INSTALLATION PAIR VALVE ELIMINATOR KIT SUZUKI SV1000 DL1000

1 x Rubber cap
2 x Block Off Plates
4 x Stainless steel bolts
4 x Stainless steel washers
The idea of the whole procedure is to bypass the electronic PAIR valve of the motorcycle by replacing it with the provided PAIR valve eliminator. To plug the airbox hole of the PAIR system with the provided rubber cap and install the provided block off plates to the engine valve covers.
This kit will let you completely remove the PAIR system from your motorcycle.
Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure
STEP 1: Lift and support the fuel tank. Locate the PAIR valve and the PAIR system hoses connected on the cylinder heads and the airbox. .
STEP 2: Unplug the PAIR hoses from the PAIR plates on the cylinder heads. Unplug the PAIR hose from the airbox and keep the retainer piece.
STEP 3: Plug the airbox hole with the provided rubber cap and secure it by using the retainer piece from the PAIR hose.
STEP 4: Locate the PAIR valve attached under the airbox.

STEP 5: Follow the wires from the PAIR valve to the wiring harness , disconnect the PAIR valve connector from the wiring harness and connect the provided PAIR valve eliminator in its place.
STEP 6: Release the PAIR valve wire, remove the 2 screws that hold the PAIR valve on the airbox and now it is free to be detached from the motorcycle.
STEP 7: Locate the two PAIR valve plates on the cylinder heads
STEP 8: Unscrew the two bolts of each plate, remove the external plastic PAIR plate but leave the internal plate in place.
STEP 9: Put each block off plate against the engine valve cover and align the block off plate holes with the engine valve cover holes.
Also align the spots that are shown in the pictures of the internal plate and the block off plate.
Use the provided stainless steel bolts and washers to install the plates and tighten each bolt to 10nm of torque.
You have bypassed the PAIR system!
That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.
