The kit contains the PAIR block off plate for the cylinder head and the small vacuum cap that is used on the vacuum line (photo) in order to remove the PAIR valve completely. The big rubber cap is used on the PAIR valve when you want to leave the PAIR valve in place.

This kit will let you completely remove the PAIR system from your motorcycle.

Note: This kit does not remove the solenoid on the bottom of the carburettor but only the PAIR system parts.

Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure

STEP 1: Locate the PAIR valve (1) at the top of the left engine cover.

STEP 2: Follow the PAIR system pipe (13) from the PAIR valve to the cylinder head.

STEP 3: Unscrew the two bolts (15) and remove the pipe. Keep the internal flange (14) and the two bolts (15).

STEP 4: Put the block off plate against the cylinder using the flange (14) between the plate and the cylinder. Align the block off plate holes with the cylinder holes and tighten the two bolts (15) at 10nm of torque.

STEP 5: Follow the vacuum pipe (16) from the PAIR valve to the T vacuum connector. Disconnect the pipe (16) as shown in the picture and use the small vacuum cap to plug the vacuum inlet.

STEP 6: You can now remove all the parts of the PAIR system shown in the diagram.

You have bypassed the PAIR system!

That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.
