INSTALLATION PAIR VALVE ELIMINATOR BLOCK OFF PLATES KIT HAYABUSA

The idea of the whole procedure is to remove the electronic PAIR valve solenoid of the motorcycle, to plug the airbox port of the PAIR system with the provided rubber cap, plug the PAIR vacuum hose on the #4 throttle body and install the provided block off plates to the engine PAIR ports.

This kit will let you completely remove the PAIR system from your motorcycle.

Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure

STEP 1: Lift and support the fuel tank and remove the Airbox.

STEP 2: Locate the #4 Throttle body (on the far right side as looking the engine from the behind) and remove the PAIR vacuum hose from the nipple.

Cover the port with the vacuum hose cap found in the kit

STEP 3: Unplug the PAIR hose (1) from the airbox and keep the retainer piece.

STEP 4: Plug the airbox hole with the provided rubber cap and secure it by using the retainer piece from the PAIR hose.

STEP 5: Remove the right and left hand panels to have access to the PAIR solenoid at the front of the engine

STEP 6: Remove the screws of the PAIR valve pipes and replace them with the block off plates found in the kit. Torque them at 10nm

STEP 7: Unbolt the PAIR solenoid and remove the valve together with its pipes from the motorcycle

You have bypassed the PAIR system!

That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.
