INSTALLATION PAIR VALVE ELIMINATOR BLOCK OFF PLATES KIT

The idea of the whole procedure is to remove the electronic PAIR valve solenoid of the motorcycle, plug the airbox port of the PAIR system with the provided rubber cap, plug the throttle body port with the vacuum cap and install the provided block off plates to the engine valve covers.


This kit will let you completely remove the PAIR system from your motorcycle.


Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure



STEP 1: Remove the fuel tank and remove the Airbox.


STEP 2:Locate the PAIR valve and the PAIR system hoses connected on the cylinder heads and the airbox. 

The PAIR valve can be found just above the cylinder heads on the inline engines

STEP 3: Unplug the PAIR hoses from the PAIR plates on the cylinder heads. Unplug the PAIR hose from the airbox and keep the retainer piece.

STEP 4: Plug the airbox hole with the provided rubber cap and secure it by using the retainer piece from the PAIR hose.

STEP 5: Disconnect vacuum hose of the PAIR valve from the throttle body and plug the port on the throttle body with the vacuum rubber cap

STEP 6: Locate the two PAIR valve plates on the cylinder head

STEP 7: Unscrew the two bolts of each plate and remove the external PAIR plate.


STEP 8: Put each block off plate against the engine valve cover and align the block off plate holes with the engine valve cover holes. Use the provided stainless steel bolts and washers to install the plates and tighten each bolt to 10nm of torque.

You have bypassed the PAIR system!

That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.
