INSTALLATION AIS VALVE ELIMINATOR KIT YAMAHA YZF R3 R25

Parts:

1 x AIS valve eliminator   

1 x Airbox rubber cap          

1 x Block Off Plate

2 x Stainless steel bolts and washers

The idea of the whole procedure is to bypass the electronic AIS valve of the motorcycle by replacing it with the provided electronic AIS valve eliminator and plug the airbox hole of the AIS system and the engine AIS valve cover with the rubber caps included in the kit.

This kit will let you completely remove the AIS system from your motorcycle.

Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure

STEP 1: Remove the fuel tank. Locate the AIS valve at the left hand side of the engine cylinder (1), the AIS system hose connected to the airbox (2)  and the AIS plate (3).

STEP 2: Unplug the AIS hose from the airbox and keep the retainer piece.

STEP 3: Plug the airbox hole with the one rubber cap and secure it by using the retainer piece from the AIS hose.

STEP 4: Disconnect the AIS valve connector from the solenoid wiring harness and connect the provided AIS valve eliminator to this connector.

STEP 5: Remove the screws that hold the AIS valve attached on the motorcycle. Now it is free to be removed.

STEP 6: Locate the AIS valve plate on the cylinder head.

STEP 7: Unscrew the two bolts of each plate and remove the external PAIR plate (5).

STEP 8: Leave the internal flange plate inside the engine cover.

STEP 9: Put the block off plate against the engine valve cover and align the block off plate holes with the engine valve cover holes. Use the provided stainless steel bolts and washers to install the plates and tighten each bolt to 10nm of torque.

You have bypassed the PAIR system!

That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.
