Products covered: PLE-112

Parts:

1 x Pair valve eliminator

1 x Airbox rubber cap

2 x Block Off Plates

4 x Stainless steel bolts

4 x Stainless steel washers

The idea of the whole procedure is to bypass the electronic AIS valve of the motorcycle by replacing it with the provided AIS valve eliminator. To plug the airbox hole of the AIS system with the provided rubber cap and install the provided block off plates to the engine valve cover.

We have used a Suzuki SV 1000 as reference in some photos, however these instructions will be applied to the listed motorcycles.

This kit will let you completely remove the AIS system from your motorcycle.

Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure

STEP 1: Lift and support the fuel tank and remove the Airbox.

STEP 2:Locate the AIS valve and the AIS system hoses connected on the cylinder heads and the airbox.

The AIS valve can be found just above the cylinder heads on the inline engines or attached on the airbox on the V engines.

STEP 3: Unplug the AIS hoses from the AIS plates on the cylinder heads. Unplug the AIS hose from the airbox and keep the retainer piece.

STEP 4: Plug the airbox hole with the provided rubber cap and secure it by using the retainer piece from the AIS hose.

STEP 5: Disconnect the AIS valve connector from the solenoid wiring harness and connect the provided AIS valve eliminator to this connector.

STEP 6: Remove the screws that hold the AIS valve attached on the motorcycle. Now it is free to be removed.

STEP 8: Unscrew the two bolts of each plate and remove the external AIS plate.

STEP 9: Put each block off plate against the engine valve cover with the engraved logo facing outwards and align the block off plate holes with the engine valve cover holes. Use the provided stainless steel bolts and washers to install the plates and tighten each bolt to 10nm of torque.

You have bypassed the AIS system!

That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.

Thank you very much.
