INSTALLATION AIS VALVE ELIMINATOR BLOCK OFF PLATES KIT

Products covered: BLP-129, BLP-104, BLP-225

Parts:

1 x Rubber cap

2 x Block Off Plates

4 x Stainless steel bolts

4 x Stainless steel washers

The idea of the whole procedure is to remove the electronic PAIR valve solenoid of the motorcycle, to plug the airbox hole of the PAIR system with the provided rubber cap and install the provided block off plates to the engine valve covers.

We have used a Suzuki SV 1000 as reference in some photos, however these instructions will be applied to the listed motorcycles.

This kit will let you completely remove the PAIR system from your motorcycle.

Please read the steps carefully before starting the installation and note that the ignition must be turned OFF during the whole procedure

STEP 1: Lift and support the fuel tank and remove the Airbox.

STEP 2:Locate the PAIR valve and the PAIR system hoses connected on the cylinder heads and the airbox.

The PAIR valve can be found just above the cylinder heads on the inline engines or attached on the airbox on the V engines.

STEP 3: Unplug the PAIR hoses from the PAIR plates on the cylinder heads. Unplug the PAIR hose from the airbox and keep the retainer piece.

STEP 4: Plug the airbox hole with the provided rubber cap and secure it by using the retainer piece from the PAIR hose.

STEP 5: For the older models that have vacuum operated PAIR Valve the vacuum hose (A) must be blocked using a small bolt or cap and the valve can be removed.

STEP 6: Remove the screws that hold the PAIR valve attached on the motorcycle. Now it is free to be removed.

STEP 7: Locate the two PAIR valve plates on the cylinder head

STEP 8: Unscrew the two bolts of each plate and remove the external PAIR plate. Keep the internal gasket plate in place (A)

STEP 9: Put each block off plate against the engine valve cover and align the block off plate holes with the engine valve cover holes. Use the provided stainless steel bolts and washers to install the plates and tighten each bolt to 10nm of torque.

You have bypassed the PAIR system!

That’s it, now you can put everything in place and start the engine.

Thank you very much.
